JBS (YJStd, "the company") provides the mobile game Relic Restoration Shop ("the game") and handles users' personal information in accordance with the Personal Information Protection Act of the Republic of Korea. For the website (yjstd.com) and its boards, see the website privacy policy. 한국어
1. At a glance
- The game has no sign-up or login, and the company does not receive personal information such as your name, email address or phone number.
- Your game progress (shop, gold, restored relics, catalog, display cabinet, decorations, settings, purchase confirmation values and so on) is saved on your phone and is not sent to the company's servers. It is deleted when you delete the app.
- Ads (Google AdMob) and payments (Google Play) are handled by Google. There are reward ads you choose to watch and an ad that sometimes appears after a sale. During a Guild Membership, or after you buy “Remove Ads”, no ads appear after sales.
- If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, the game asks for your consent for ads through Google's consent message before showing ads. You can change your choice at any time in Settings → About → Ad privacy.
- To improve the game, we collect usage statistics — such as which screens and features are used and how often — with Google Firebase Analytics. They contain no name or contact details, and you can turn them off in the game's settings.
2. Purposes
- Showing reward ads and granting rewards for watching them
- Confirming payments for paid items, delivering the items, and handling settlement and refund inquiries
- Improving the game with usage statistics (finding steps where players get stuck, places where errors occur, and features that are rarely used)
- Handling inquiries and requests
Legal basis (for users in the EEA, the UK and Switzerland): showing and measuring ads and preventing fraud — our legitimate interest in funding a free game, and your consent where the law requires it (for example, personalized ads); payments — performing our contract with you; usage statistics — our legitimate interest in improving the game, which you can turn off at any time.
3. Information processed
- Ads: advertising ID, IP address, device information, ad interaction and diagnostic information — collected by Google AdMob, which is included in the app, to show ads, measure their performance and prevent fraud. During a Guild Membership you receive ad rewards without watching ads, and during the membership or after buying “Remove Ads” the game does not load ads after sales.
- Payments: Google Play order number, item, payment and refund time and status — payments are processed by Google Play, and the game confirms the purchase on your phone and delivers the item. The company checks order information in the Google Play Console to manage sales. The payment module included in the game (Unity IAP) sends a payment progress record (item, payment result and failure reason, transaction number, device model, operating system, language and country) to the module's provider, Unity Technologies, while a payment is in progress (to check and analyze how the payment module works).
- Usage statistics (Google Firebase Analytics): a random app instance ID created when the app is installed, in-game actions (progress steps such as restoring, selling and expeditions, and whether the store and ads were used), device information (model, operating system version, language), approximate location estimated from the IP address (country and city level), app version, first launch time and usage time — none of this is sent if you turn off “Send usage stats” in the game's settings.
- Information kept only on your phone: game progress, settings, and confirmation values for purchases already delivered — not sent to the company.
Payment method information such as card numbers is handled by Google; the company does not receive it. The “Move save” backup code is created on your phone and is not sent anywhere other than where you copy and paste it yourself. The “Board · Feedback” and “Report a bug” buttons in Settings open this website in your phone's browser; only the game version is pre-filled in the bug report form.
4. Retention
- Game records on your phone: until you delete the app
- Payment records (Article 6 of the Enforcement Decree of the Korean Act on Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce): records of payment and delivery 5 years, records of contracts or withdrawal of offers 5 years, records of consumer complaints and dispute resolution 3 years — kept as order records in the Google Play Console
- Advertising information: according to Google's retention policies
- Usage statistics: individual records are deleted after the Google Analytics retention period (2 months); after that only aggregate statistics that cannot identify anyone remain
5. Provision to third parties
The company does not provide users' personal information to third parties, except where required by law. However, Google AdMob (Google LLC), included in the app, directly collects the “Ads” information in section 3 and uses it to show ads, measure performance and prevent fraud. This processing follows the Google Privacy Policy and How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services.
6. Processors and international transfers
- Google LLC — Google Play: payment processing and order record storage
- Unity Technologies — Unity IAP: analysis of the payment module's payment progress records (Unity data centers in the United States and elsewhere) — Unity Privacy Policy
- Google LLC — Google AdMob · User Messaging Platform: showing ads, measuring performance, confirming views and collecting ad consent (Google data centers in the United States and elsewhere)
- Google LLC — Google Firebase Analytics: storing and analyzing usage statistics (Google data centers in the United States and elsewhere)
The information transferred abroad is the “Ads” and “Usage statistics” information in section 3 and the payment progress record under “Payments”. The recipients are Google LLC (United States · Google privacy contact) and Unity Technologies (United States · Unity privacy contact). The information is sent over the network with encryption (HTTPS) when the game loads ads, sends statistics or makes a payment, is used for the purposes above, and is kept for the periods in section 4. If you do not want this transfer, you can turn off “Send usage stats”, not watch ads, or delete the app. The game still works with statistics turned off.
7. Your rights
You may ask at any time to see, correct or delete your personal information, or to stop its processing.
- Stop sending usage statistics: turn off Settings → “Send usage stats” in the game
- Delete game records: delete the app, or clear the app's storage in your phone's settings
- Reset or delete your advertising ID, or turn off personalized ads: your phone's settings → Privacy → Ads
- Change your ad consent (EEA / UK / Switzerland): Settings → About → Ad privacy in the game. Where processing is based on consent, you can withdraw it at any time.
- Payment and refund inquiries: your Google Play order history, or [email protected]
- Other requests: [email protected] or the Relic Restoration Shop board. If you are in the EEA or the UK, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
8. Children
The game is not directed at children under 14 (or under the age of digital consent in your country, up to 16), and the company does not receive children's personal information.
9. Security measures
We minimize personal information by not keeping user information on company servers, and ad, payment and statistics traffic goes through Google services encrypted with HTTPS.
