JBS (YJStd, "we") provides the mobile game "One More Room" (the "Game"). This policy explains what information the Game processes and why. For our website (yjstd.com) and its message board, see the website privacy policy (Korean).
1. At a glance
- The Game has no sign-up. We do not collect your name, email address, or phone number.
- Your progress (Gold, Gems, gear, characters, purchase records, etc.) is saved on your phone, with a copy on Unity's servers (Cloud Save) so you can continue after changing phones or reinstalling. The copy is not visible to other players.
- We use Unity Gaming Services by Unity Technologies for the Daily Dungeon leaderboard, the Arena, and Cloud Save. An anonymous player ID is created the first time you connect. When you take part in a leaderboard, your nickname and records are sent to Unity's servers and shown to other players.
- If you sign in to Google Play Games, your Google Play Games player ID is linked to your Unity account so you can find your save on a new phone with the same Google account. We do not receive your email or name.
- Ads (Google AdMob) and payments (Google Play) are handled by Google. Ads are rewarded ads you choose to watch, plus a full-screen ad after a run every few runs (none in your first 5 runs; turned off by the "Remove Ads" item or the monthly pack).
- If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, the Game asks for your consent for ads through Google's consent message before showing ads, and you can change your choice at any time in Settings → Ad privacy.
2. Why we process information (purposes and legal bases)
- Providing leaderboards and the Arena (storing records and showing rankings) — to provide the service you requested (performance of a contract).
- Keeping a copy of your save so you can continue on a new phone or after reinstalling (Cloud Save · Google Play Games link) — performance of a contract.
- Showing ads, measuring them, preventing fraud, and granting rewards for rewarded ads — our legitimate interest in funding a free game, and your consent where the law requires it (for example, personalized ads in the EEA/UK).
- Verifying payments, delivering purchased items, and handling refunds and settlement — performance of a contract and legal obligations.
- Answering your questions and requests — legitimate interest.
3. Information processed
- Leaderboards · Arena (Unity Gaming Services): anonymous player ID, the nickname you choose, scores, floors reached, Arena records, and the build shown on the leaderboard (names of character, weapon, Blessings, gear). Nicknames and records are visible to other players.
- Cloud Save (Unity Gaming Services): a copy of your game progress (the same contents as the save on your phone, including confirmation values for purchases already granted) and a summary (save time, device model, best floor, number of runs, number of Gems). It is uploaded automatically when you enter the village, when you leave the app, and after purchases, and is not visible to other players.
- Google Play Games (Google): when you sign in, your Google Play Games player ID is linked to your Unity account (Google confirms it to Unity). We do not receive your email, name, or friends list.
- Ads: advertising ID, IP address, device information, ad interaction and diagnostic information — collected by Google AdMob, which is included in the app, to show ads, measure performance, and prevent fraud.
- Payments: Google Play order number, item, time and status of payments and refunds — payments are processed by Google Play, and the Game verifies purchases on your phone to deliver items. We check order information in the Google Play Console to manage sales. The payment module (Unity IAP) sends purchase progress records (item, price, transaction number, device information) to Unity Technologies when a purchase is made, to analyze payment problems.
- Information that stays on your phone: settings (sound, display, language, etc.) — not sent to us.
Payment method information such as card numbers is handled by Google; we never receive it. "Transfer Save" codes are created and moved by you and do not pass through our servers.
4. How long we keep it
- Game records on your phone: until you delete the app.
- Leaderboard and Arena information, the Cloud Save copy, and the Google Play Games link: until you use "Delete online records" in the Game or ask us to delete them.
- Payment records: as required by Korean consumer-protection law (records of payment and delivery 5 years, of contracts and withdrawals 5 years, of complaints and disputes 3 years), kept as order records in the Google Play Console.
- Ad information: according to Google's retention policies.
5. Sharing with third parties
We do not sell your information or provide it to third parties, except where required by law. Google AdMob (Google LLC), included in the app, collects the "Ads" information in section 3 directly and uses it to show ads, measure performance, and prevent fraud, under the Google Privacy Policy and How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services.
6. Service providers and international transfers
- Unity Technologies — Unity Gaming Services · Unity IAP: anonymous sign-in and Google Play Games linking, storing leaderboard and Arena records and Cloud Save copies, analyzing purchase progress records (Unity data centers including the United States) — Unity Privacy Policy
- Google LLC — Google Play: payment processing and order records
- Google LLC — Google Play Games services: sign-in and player ID confirmation
- Google LLC — Google AdMob · User Messaging Platform: showing and measuring ads, confirming rewarded views, and collecting ad consent (Google data centers including the United States)
The "Leaderboards · Arena", "Cloud Save", "Google Play Games", and "Ads" information in section 3 may be transferred outside your country, including to the United States. It is encrypted in transit (HTTPS) and kept according to each company's policies, which rely on appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses. If you do not want this, you can play without an internet connection (leaderboards and Cloud Save turn off), use "Delete online records", or delete the app.
7. Your rights
You can ask at any time to access, correct, delete, or restrict the processing of your information, to object to processing, and (where applicable) to receive a copy of it. Where processing is based on consent, you can withdraw it at any time.
- Delete leaderboard and Arena information and the Cloud Save copy: Settings → Usage stats · Online records → "Delete online records" in the Game (this cannot be undone) — see the data deletion guide.
- Delete game records: delete the app, or clear the app's storage in your phone settings.
- Change your ad consent (EEA/UK/Switzerland): Settings → Ad privacy in the Game.
- Reset or delete your advertising ID, or turn off personalized ads: your phone's Settings → Privacy → Ads.
- Payment and refund questions: your Google Play order history, or [email protected].
- Any other request: [email protected]. If you are in the EEA or the UK, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
8. Children
The Game is not directed at children under 13 (or under the age of digital consent in your country, up to 16), and we do not knowingly collect children's information. If you believe a child has provided information, please contact us and we will delete it.
9. Security
We minimize personal information by not collecting names or contact details, and leaderboard, Cloud Save, ad, and payment communication goes through encrypted (HTTPS) Unity and Google services.
10. Contact
Privacy contact, JBS (YJStd) · [email protected]
11. Changes
If this policy changes, we will announce it on this page and in the Game 7 days before the change takes effect. If there is any difference between this English version and the Korean version, the Korean version prevails for users in Korea.
